The journey
A goal worth
working towards.
From uncertainty after surgery to the activities Kevin wanted back in his life.
A starting point
Finding confidence after surgery
Kevin contacted Felix from his hospital bed after his operation. He says rehabilitation began two weeks after surgery, with a clear plan that helped ease his concerns about returning to activity.
The work
Sessions, consistency and home exercises
Over the following three months, Kevin attended regular sessions with Felix and the team and continued his exercises at home. By December, he was back to light running; a few weeks later, he returned to pad work.
His later update
Back to full training
Writing almost a year after his meniscus injury, Kevin reported training at full capacity, running personal bests at 42 and practising Muay Thai without limitations.
In their own words
Kevin’s experience.
“His knowledge, professionalism, and clear rehabilitation plan gave me confidence that I could recover and return to doing what I love.”

Kevin’s account, shared after his return to training. Timing and age refer to when he wrote it.
Tearing my meniscus and undergoing surgery last September was one of the most challenging experiences I’ve faced. I’ve always been an active person—I love running and training Muay Thai—so the thought of being unable to do the things I enjoy was incredibly difficult. I had a lot of concerns about what life after surgery would look like and whether I’d ever get back to where I was.
I actually messaged Felix from my hospital bed after my operation and booked an appointment as soon as I was able. From just two weeks post-surgery, we began my rehabilitation. Right from the start, Felix put my mind at ease. His knowledge, professionalism, and clear rehabilitation plan gave me confidence that I could recover and return to doing what I love.
Over the following three months, I regularly visited Felix and the team at Rehab & Performance Pattaya, and the progress was obvious. I followed every stage of the programme and continued the exercises at home to get the best possible results.
By December, I was back to light running, and just a few weeks later I was hitting the pads again. The muscle that had significantly atrophied was recovering well, my mobility had returned, and I was well on my way back to my pre-surgery fitness.
Now, almost a year after tearing my meniscus, I’m back training at full capacity. I’m running personal bests at 42 years old and training Muay Thai without limitations—something I genuinely wasn’t sure would be possible after my injury.
I can’t thank Felix and everyone at Rehab & Performance Pattaya enough for their support, expertise, and encouragement throughout my recovery. They played a huge part in helping me get back to doing the things I love, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone recovering from an injury.
